Our three imaging centers use some of the most advanced technology available to get our patients accurate and timely results. All of our imaging centers are fully accredited by the American College of Radiology and our staff is certified to give you the care you deserve.

Tuscan Imaging Center at Las Colinas
Located across the street from Las Colinas Medical Center, Tuscan Imaging Center at Las Colinas is one of two dedicated outpatient imaging center affiliated with the hospital. As a dedicated outpatient center, we have designed out center to accommodate the busy patient by offering convenient scheduling opportunities as well as expedited services.

Through our team of Board Certified Radiologist, as well as registered nurses and technologists, we focus on providing a positive experience for both the patient and the referring physician. Women’s Imaging Center
The Women’s Imaging Center at Las Colinas Medical Center was designed with women in mind. Its experienced physicians, certified and registered technologists, and an understanding support staff provide expert care and a new experience in women’s imaging. Far more than just a lovely, private setting for women, the Women’s Imaging Center offers state-of-the-art breast health services, with the latest equipment and some of the most advanced technologies designed for comfort and accurate detection.
Breast cancer typically doesn’t cause symptoms in early stages; therefore it is important to have screening tests to find the cancer before symptoms appear. The Women’s Center offers screening mammograms, which are x-rays of the breast that are used to see lumps and other changes in breast tissue. Our mammography units produce optimal images with faster exposure times using the least amount of radiation. The result is less discomfort and a lower probability of re-testing due to motion blur. “Soft touch” mammography pads are used to make the procedure more comfortable for clients.
In addition, the Center also has a computer-aided detection (CAD) system that assists in early detection by acting as a “second eye.” The mammography film is scrutinized and analyzed by the human eye, and then it is checked again by the CAD system. Studies have shown that use of this type of CAD screening can improve early detection up to 20%. Breast MR, the latest advanced technology in the arsenal to detect breast cancer in women with dense breasts or significant family history, is now available at Las Colinas Medical Center.
Women’s Imaging Center performs breast ultrasound tests that are ordered when a mammogram image shows a mass or a woman feels a lump. These non-invasive tests determine whether a lump is a solid mass or something else, like a fluid-filled cyst. The Center’s latest digital ultrasound equipment produces high resolution images making it easier to see tiny details. In all cases, an ultrasound can be performed in the same visit as a diagnostic mammogram.
Las Colinas Medical Center Women’s Imaging Center is the only center in the Irving area that has earned accreditation by the American College of Radiology (ACR) in mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast-guided biopsy. The center is one of only six facilities in the Dallas and Fort Worth area.

If patients require additional views, ultrasound or even breast biopsy, we offer a “Same Day Service Program” where a dedicated board certified, in-house Radiologist will provide the patient with preliminary results before leaving the center.
